About the Artist:
Since graduating in 1972 I have followed a career in architecture, working in my own practise in Bath since the 1980s. Although painting has always been part of my life I only started exhibiting my work in 2009 when my painting of The Empire Hotel was awarded the watercolour prize at the Bath Society Artists Exhibition and my oil painting of Hedgemead Park was the winner of the first Bath Prize Exhibition. Since then I have regularly exhibited work at the Bath Society Artists Exhibition, The Bath Prize and the Royal West of England Academy; and have recently shown work at the Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours open exhibiitons at the Mall Galleries.
